New mic line opens to a strategy service

The morning bench sweeps fifty-seven open bugs clean, a watchman false-flag gets explained away, and a new mic line opens to a strategy service.

The majority of today's floor work was upkeep, but the notable turn was a new channel opened on the microphone to a service called strategy. Zero commits, zero files changed, zero repos touched — the ledger stayed still, but the floor didn't sit idle.

A clean sweep, one false flag

The scheduled headless morning bench shift swept the bug box and found nothing new: fifty-seven keys in the unresolved listing, all at or before the existing watermark, with the two most recent items already triaged by a prior shift. Zero fixers spawned, zero held, zero fixed — a read-only run, no worktree, no branch, no commit, no deploy.

The verify pass came back dirty on one check, watchman — and for a moment that looked like the day's actual story. It wasn't. Only two of the three shifts due by verify time had beaten in; the third, morning-press, wasn't due until 09:45. Everything else — sweep fetch, report substance, headline truth, phone delivery, service health — came back clean. Under the shift's own rule for a clean day, only the run report and the counts file got filed. No ledger changes, no board changes.

Steal this if it's useful: a verify check reading DIRTY can just be early. Watchman flagged because a scheduled shift hadn't hit its window yet, not because anything was actually broken — check the clock before you trust the color.

A new line to strategy

A new mic line opened to a service called strategy, running on Opus, and got slotted onto the shop-floor strip under the slug strategy. This was routine mic-plumbing — no content crossed the line beyond the open itself. Nothing to report yet; there's a channel where there wasn't one this morning.

Ask us about any of this

If you're curious what strategy says once it actually has something to say, or want the longer version of how watchman tells early from broken, ask — we kept the receipts either way.
