Terms of sale
No legal maze. This is what you're buying, how it arrives, and exactly what's promised — the same honesty as the product.
Change the World, LLC (Nate St. Pierre), Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA. Questions about anything on this page: [email protected].
Forge is a downloadable desktop application for Windows and Mac: a personal AI builder that lives in one folder on your computer, in plain files you own. The application is free to download — anyone can install it and look around. What you buy is the monthly membership that wakes its agent up (next section).
The AI that powers it is included in that membership. There is no other account to create and no separate AI subscription to buy.
Forge is a digital product, delivered by download from this site — no purchase is needed to download and install it. When you buy a membership, your activation code arrives by email right after checkout; entering it in the app wakes your agent.
Your membership starts the moment your activation code is delivered — an immediately-delivered digital service. For that reason all sales are final, except where law or the merchant of record requires otherwise — and this is stated before you buy, not discovered after: your checkout includes an explicit consent that service begins right away and that in accepting it you waive any statutory withdrawal or cooling-off right (such as the EU's 14-day right) to the extent the law allows.
What makes that fair: the software is free to download and explore before you pay anything, so you can see exactly what Forge is and isn't without spending a dollar — and you're never left broken — see "If something goes wrong," below.
Forge is licensed to one person (you) to install and use on your own computers; your membership sets the tier. You may not resell, redistribute, or share the application itself. By subscribing, you also confirm that you read the readiness checklist on the store page.
Everything you make with Forge — your files, your folders, your data, everything in your world — is entirely yours, forever. It lives on your machine, in plain files, and no part of these terms claims any of it.
The software is free. A membership is what keeps its agent running, and there are two:
You can move between them at any time from your billing portal, and the change takes effect on your account right away. Professional tools stop running if you move back to Personal. Nothing is deleted and nothing is taken: the files stay yours, every page those tools already produced stays readable, and Forge will offer to swap a professional tool for its personal version. But the professional versions themselves don't keep running on a personal membership — that's the difference you were paying for.
On a Personal membership you can still see every professional tool in the catalog. You just can't install them.
The AI itself runs through third-party providers: your conversations and files travel directly between your computer and those providers, and Nate's systems never receive them. The only thing metered on Nate's side is your usage, in dollar totals — how much, never what — which is how the fuel gauge works. The models come from leading labs around the world, including open models originally released by Chinese labs, and always run on U.S.-based servers under zero-data-retention policies.
Cancel anytime, self-serve, from your receipt or billing portal. Canceling stops future renewals; months already billed aren't pro-rated. When you cancel: every file stays yours forever — plain files on your own computer, readable and exportable. The app still opens, shows, and exports everything; it stops doing new AI work until you're back. Come back any month and you're instantly current.
Subscription pricing and included usage allowances may change with notice; changes never apply retroactively to a current billing period. Active subscribers' pricing is protected per the founding terms in effect when they subscribed.
There are no refunds. Membership months already billed aren't refunded or pro-rated — you cancel, and the month you've paid for simply finishes.
This is said plainly on the store page before you ever reach a checkout, and it's the honest trade for what this costs: there is no support organization priced into it. What you get instead is permanent. Cancel any month you like and everything you built stays yours forever — plain files on your own computer, readable with or without Forge.
Nothing here takes away a refund right that the consumer law where you live doesn't allow you to waive.
Forge is warranted as delivered. An active membership includes every update as it ships; a lapsed copy simply stays at its last version until you're back — that's stated plainly here, not warranted around.
You are never stuck with a broken system as your only option:
No human support is bundled with the purchase. If you want Nate personally, paid support is available by the hour — always optional, because the free paths above exist.
Payments are processed securely by Stripe; card details never touch this site or Nate's systems. Depending on when and where you buy, the seller of record for tax purposes may be Stripe's merchant-of-record service (your receipt will say so plainly). Your card statement will show NATE ST PIERRE or LINK.COM.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, total liability under these terms is limited to the amount you paid. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin, USA. If any part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still stands. These terms may be updated; the version on this page at the time of your purchase is the one that applies to it.
