# Client Review Memo — The Quaid Household (H008)

- **Client:** Marisol Quaid
- **Meeting date:** 2026-06-11 (in-office, 10:00)
- **Advisor:** Marcus Hale, Associate Advisor
- **Also present:** none
- **Cadence:** annual review
- **Client since:** 2012-08

## Agenda & discussion

1. **Portfolio review.** Walked the allocation and year-to-date performance. Marisol
comfortable with the current posture; no change to the target mix requested. She
reiterated a moderate-growth tolerance and a 2031 target for stepping back from
   full-time work.
2. **Cash needs.** She expects a one-time outlay this fall for home repairs (roof) and
wanted to confirm liquidity is available without disturbing the long-term positions.
Confirmed the money-market sleeve (Northquay Government Money Market) covers it.
3. **Change in marital status — beneficiary follow-up.** Marisol confirmed that her
divorce from Martin Quaid was **finalized in May 2026**. Her IRA still lists Martin
   as primary beneficiary from the original 2019 designation. She wants this changed;
she named her daughter, Renata, as her intended new primary. We will process the
custodian's beneficiary-change form rather than rely on the old designation.

## Decisions

- No allocation change this cycle; revisit at the 2027 annual review.
- Keep the roof-repair reserve in the money-market sleeve; do not raise additional cash.

## Action items

| # | Item | Owner | Due |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | **Update primary beneficiary on the IRA (currently Martin Quaid) — Priya to prepare custodian form.** Account: Quaid IRA, acct A304. | Priya | 2026-06-30 |
| 2 | Confirm money-market balance covers the fall roof outlay; email Marisol the figure | Marcus | 2026-06-18 |

## Notes

Marisol will forward Renata's full legal name and date of birth for the beneficiary
form. Follow up if not received before the form is prepared.
