**Re: Acknowledgment of Grant Award — $120,000 · Refugee Resettlement Support**

Dear Ms. Okoye:

Thank you. On behalf of everyone at Harborlight Refugee Services — and on behalf of the families who will never know the Foundation's name but will feel its effect — I write to gratefully acknowledge your grant of **one hundred twenty thousand dollars ($120,000)** in support of our refugee resettlement program.

You wrote in your letter that the first months are the hardest and matter the most. That is precisely right, and it is precisely where this grant lands: the security deposit on a first apartment, the case manager who answers the phone at nine at night, the winter coats bought before the family knows to ask. Flexible funding for that window is rare, and we do not take it lightly.

We confirm our acceptance of the grant and its terms. Our office will forward deposit instructions to you so that payment by check or ACH can be arranged; we understand any wire coordinates remain on the custody side. A written report on the individuals and families served will follow within twelve months, with counts and a short narrative and no identifying details, as you asked.

Please convey our thanks to Ms. Ellencourt and the Board. This is steadying work you have made possible.

In gratitude and partnership,

<br>
